Issue #1 we'd love to get fixed as we have heard it from a handful of people. Can you provide some more information about how the problem occurs? What mode? What teams? What roster size (25 or 16)? What pitcher(s)? Does he just stand there and not attempt to throw at all? Or does he go through his pitching motion and not release the ball?

Issue #2 is already addressed on our end and will be included in an upcoming patch. (though not the one with the HDR Xbox One X fix that is already submitted to Microsoft)

You should already be able to preload the throw when turning a double play. But we will keep a close eye on this.

      Thanks!
      1) I think this has been addressed by a few people but it was 25 man roster Yankees vs. White Sox. Postseason mode wild card game 9th inning. I don't remember which pitchers. Pitcher was replaced by the computer and then the new Pitcher stands and never goes into his motion.
      2) Glad to hear thats being fixed it jumped out in my first two games so getting that fixed will be great.

Also, I realized after I posted this that preloading throws does work so thanks!

Patch for the visual issues on Xbox One X is out and cleans up most everything.

      Small issue I noticed:
      1) Yankees vs. Redsox at Fenway during a day game. The infield dirt looks very bright during play and right after a play ends (out is recorded or runner reaches base) when transitioning to the next batter the infield dirt darkens for a split second to a more normal color. I'll try and reproduce and grab a screenshot.

Are there any plans for Xbox One X enhanced support?

I think my biggest issue with the game is fielding. For me, it's very janky. And I think they need more animations. I've seen some people say they use auto fielding but I just can't do that. I need the full experience.

So that's my .02 cents for the devs. I think if fielding could be tweaked to be a little more realistic and a little easier I could enjoy the game more.

Decided to keep it on the system and will try again after some patches.
Just curious, how can fielding be made any easier than it already is? And what issues are people having with fielding? You move your guy to the reticle and it jumps or dives for you as needed. I like the fielding as is.

I agree, I think the fielding feels good. I'm not sure why people are having such an issue with it.

We have tracked this issue down and will have a fix in an upcoming patch.

In the meantime, if you are still stuck here while waiting for the patch to be released, it may be possible that if you repeatedly Quit and then Continue that game, the AI will eventually sub in a pitcher who will pitch. Otherwise, you should be able to Sim the rest of the game.

Thank you to everyone who provided information to help us find the problem!

Yes, importing a roster update to your Franchise will not affect accumulated stats. All pre-existing players will have all of their stats for the season (even if you choose the Overwrite option).

That is awesome, I don't remember any other game being able to do this with roster updates. They also advertise being able to use roster updates in an ongoing Franchise.

Curious why the batting view seems to be tweaked a bit from RBI 16/17 and shows off less of the stadium backdrops especially when the graphics have been slightly improved with RBI 18? Is it possible to add the RBI 16/17 batting view back to this version to show off the stadiums a bit more?

I would also do this between innings as well. Instead of the MLB logo splash screen add random panoramic views of the stadium while playing the music to help spice up the presentation just a bit. My .02 cents.

It's not a bug and I think he's trying to address bugs and answer questions about current functionality. That's a pretty big change to the game that would require significant development time and couldn't be put in until next year's game.

Showing more of the stadium / crowd = lower framerate.

Also, we have found that it is easier to read speed differences and curveballs the more top-down the view is.

We have discussed behind the pitcher view. It is something that could appear in a future version. Two main reasons it hasn't been done yet:

                                1. Need a really top-notch 3D crowd if they will be in such a prominent view.
                                2. We think its better suited / makes more sense with a true-to-life 3D pitching/batting scheme, rather than the retro-style, basically 2D pitching/hitting scheme that is RBI.
