Nice to see you on here taking feedback from OS. This goes along way.

This was occurring in the first game of my franchise game (Mets) with 25 for the roster size. The opposing pitcher (Cardinals) just stands there and never throws the ball. I have even reloaded the game and the cpu subs in a new pitcher who just stands there never throwing the ball.

Additionally I had another issue in a exhibition game where I was playing a 3 inning game where the first baseman held on to the ball while I just ran to 2nd base. He eventually threw the ball to 2nd but it was way after the fact. I just stepped on the bag and finally threw it.

I like the game but I'm having trouble stealing (on PS4). With a man on first I'm waiting for the wind-up, I'm pressing square, and I'm pressing the left up arrow but the guy on first doesn't run. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure this is a stupid question So I apologize.

This has been hit or miss for me as well. Seems like you need to time it perfectly unless I'm missing something as well.

I'm really enjoying the game so far, although I struggle scoring runs. It is a nice change of pace. Really brings me back to the old school games I played on Nintendo, etc. For me on the PS4, I don't notice the long load times that others are talking about. It seems that if they were bad, I would notice but I'm not.

One issue I've noticed is that late in games the CPU doesn't seem to pinch hit for relief pitchers in NL games. I've played a few NL vs. NL games, and the CPU lets their pitchers hit in situations where they should be pinch hit for.

Thanks Kayotick, this is helpful. It ruled out a few suspects. If you're able to send us a screenshot that could further help us narrow it down.

To clarify, this occurred with two different pitchers on the Cardinals? Were there any runners on base?

Along with what has been brought up already, Ive had two other glitches:
            1. playing couch coop with my son, when either one of us tried to sub a reliever or pinch hit...we were able to go to sub menu but the othet controller had to select the sub...we had to tell each other who to put in

            2. I could not select a replacement for injured player...there was no cursor on the roster screen so could not select anyone
Pushing d pad or stick made no difference could not select anyone. same with signing free agents

            Im on xbox one s

              Thanks baconbits11!

For #2, did this occur after using multiple controllers / profiles as well? Or was there only ever one controller and profile used from booting up the game until you encountered those problems with an injury and free agents?

Can grab a screenshot later tonight when I get home. I do not believe there was a runner on base. Yes it occurred with two different pitchers. Here is a scenario:

Game reaches 9th inning and the pitcher refuses to pitch ball. I save the game, exit and reload the game. The computer immediately subs a pitcher in and he then refuses to pitch the ball.

I tried reloading the game one more time after that and the same issue.

                Regards,
                Josh

Just one controller, it was just me signed into Franchise. I also had problems simming in Franchise. I could not select a date on the calendar, no cursor. Therefore it only let me sim to the first of each month.

BTW It is great to have you on here, means a lot to us who bought the game to have a developer take time to listen and try to fix things!

I just wanted to say I appreciate the devs coming in here addressing our concerns.

I think my biggest issue with the game is fielding. For me, it's very janky. And I think they need more animations. I've seen some people say they use auto fielding but I just can't do that. I need the full experience.

So that's my .02 cents for the devs. I think if fielding could be tweaked to be a little more realistic and a little easier I could enjoy the game more.

Decided to keep it on the system and will try again after some patches.

Thanks. I guess that is a complaint that you can only have one franchise at a time. Overall I enjoy the game and like the amount of improvements in one year. Keep up the good work.

                            DEAR MLBGames...

When are you going to implement behind the pitcher camera so that it adds a different look to the game from pitching and hitting.

Ive been waiting for this now for 4 years.

I understand stadiums were JUST enhanced but many of us would want a behind the pitcher view when your pitching...

Had high hopes for this game, but after reading the reviews/impressions and watching youtube videos, was left very underwhelmed (again....)

                              Here's to next year, maybe?

Along the lines of behind the pitcher camera (I agree)...what are the chances of having a more sim/less arcade oriented mode?
