- I love the in-depth scouting reports when you look at the player cards

- Real-time in game box score on the LF scoreboard at Fenway

- Cutscene of a fan catching a HR ball

- I was the Jays playing the Red Sox. I smoked Cora in the 1st inning and then Ortiz in the 2nd inning. The ump warned both benches. I went up to bat in the 3rd and Beckett drilled Overbay (the first batter of the inning) with the first pitch and got tossed. It looks like he was protecting his hitters.

- Ortiz clapping his hands together before he steps into the box

- Being able to press up/down/left and see a lot of pitcher/batter info once the game has started

Go read MLB '06: The Show's list, and you will find that his seeing that is 50% more impressive than the ones on there.

By the way, that is VERY sad about the amount of views and lack of replies. Tomorrow I'll put mine up. Inside Edge alone is just WAY beyond a little thing, and is so great!

I'll go with Pure Motion. Its not perfect and takes some getting used to. But I like this year's game much more than last years game.

Oh and I just have much more fun playing this years version.

To be completely honest, their aren't that many little things that they added. Or atleast that I have seen as of yet.

The Ortiz hand-clap is really the only one that stands out to me.

I even played with LAD and can't remember Nomar going through his OCD thing. Maybe I was concentrating on other things though.

The only homer statement was yours, my friend. My statement was merely an opinion.

Hopefully you saw MY "little things" on that thread, because they were some fantastic little things. I didn't say that MLB 2K6 had better "little things", I just said that the things posted on there (at least some of them) aren't any more impressive than the Giambi thing that somebody just snoozed on. THAT was a homer reply for somebody to do that, just because people feel they are allowed to, once again, trash this series at any cost, when I can't stand here and defend my personal preference to this series, because I have nobody behind me. Same thing happens with the Bonds issue, or whatever.

I love both games, and have already played both games to death. This series has always given me more playing time and has become less stale than anything else, though. No, that's not a "homer" statement towards the company, but just the games that they produce. I've said it many times before, and I don't believe in such a thing as "fanboyism". I don't understand HOW it can exist, because I don't see how, unless somebody really liked one game over another, did not purchase one game even though it suited their needs and preferences over another. I am allowed to like this game without being called a fanboy or a homer.




By the way, didn't you START the "little things" thread in the other forum? Perhaps even in MVP last year?
