Return it and rent it. IF you like it after renting it, then repurchase it. You'll be pissed if you open it and hate it.

I like the gameplay, I know what I'm getting into. It's the freezing I worry about.

I deleted my MLB files. Installed the patch, downloaded the new rosters and have been playing with zero problems. I have so much fun with the game, I really can't stop playing.

It sounds like you might be having more fun than The Show? Is that true?

What did you do to reformat?

I played 2 1/2 games, no freeze. I have a memory card (didn't get the bundle package). So maybe that was the difference. I took it back today though.

Anyone else notice that fielding is WAY WAY WAY more responsive after the patch?????

I don't think it's in my head either... it seems like night and day to me.

And personally, I don't think the arms are that bad, but I play on PRO... almost seems like they're fine after the patch, but I didn't have that much of a problem before with them. They don't use the cutoff man, but they don't seem to have cannon arms for me... PRO must be the deal there.

Still, I really believe the fielding is more responsive and that I do think is because of the patch... who knows, maybe it's in my head

What did you do to reformat?

Right now I am having more fun with this game than the Show. I didn't reformat. I went in to the dashboard to the memory section. Selected MLB2k6 hit y and then hit delete. THen loaded the game up and installed the patch.

Bear in mind, I never had a freeze pre-patch either.

anybody getting stills for flashbacks instead of actual video? This was not a problem before the patch, also alot more stutterness in the animations....

I deleted my VIP & turned on my 360 with the remote control..No freeze post patch..I never had any problems before the patch..KUSH needs to be gone..

My understanding is that the patch disabled replays -- meaning that's what was in part causing the freeze issue. A couple more 2K6 patches and people might not be able to bat and pitch...

I did my first game after i installed the patch i got stills on the highlights but the next game i played it was working fine

baa7, from my understanding you don't have the game anymore. A few more posts and you'll be taking a timeout from OS.
