At the end where Rodriguez hits the home run, before it cuts to the home run cut-scene. Notice his turnout? Same thing in current-gen 2K6. And, if I know one thing about current-gen 2K6, it's that it is far inferior to 2K7's swing and follow-through.
Yeah I do see some differences now that I look at that. I'll be very happy if they continue to tighten up some of the animations.

Another plea to 2K - please fix the outfield rocket arms.

Or at least let the CPU hit the cutoff man!

That would be a 2K6 video, though.

I'm not saying that the swing animation still isn't off, as there still needs some correction from following through to running out of the box... but I'm saying that the difference is not only major and noticeable, but it's improved.

Not only that, but they need to fix the way the ball hits the ground. They aren't superballs on cement, and that's something that they must learn. If I find a video, I'll show you an example.

Not only that, but they need to be the right cut-off men.

          Throws to 2nd base from:

          Left - SS cuts off

If you were here to recall what FatPitcher said to us, that eats up a lot of development time to make and release a demo. I would rather have more development time.

This looks miles better than the 2K6 swinging animations. I'm sure they're still refining them. Kush finally seems to be catching up with the rest of VC's ship.

From this brief video, it seems like Brinkman has righted the ship.
Yeah, and it only took an EA guy to fix it for them.

And I'm not totally sold that these animations are a finished product. I think they look good but who knows how old this build is.
Remember the NHL07 commercials? They looked terrible. The framerate was poor and there was a tonne of missing animations. The finished product was lightyears better. Who's to say this won't be the same here?

Anyway, I'm happy that us 360 owners have something to look forward too. I'll probably buy this game regardless because I have no other baseball option.
But that Inside Edge stuff sounds sick. If they could get this series to where the NBA2K series is at, people could be asking "The Show, who?"

I agree, I could care less about a demo! All their time and effort should be put into the final product, although it would seem nice to have a demo available I can wait.

I mean wait until this game has been checked out, and is good to go!

I still think this game looks the same to me, granted this is a trailer and we are not getting the real picture as to what the gameplay is like on the field. Until I see actual gameplay vids and not prettied up trailers, I'm not passing any judgement.

Fine, I was wrong, but KUSH has it wrong also & to have the cover-boy's swing WRONG isn't good, especially if they are shooting for AUTHENTICITY..

I will give them an "E" effort though

Then the only one that should be complaining is Jeter. Supposedly, if Jeter feels something is incorrect about his stance/stride that he would care enough about, he has every right to get that changed. So when you read interviews with Jeter and how he says that they get everything about him right, that's his own fault for his poor specific batting animations.

That is true, knowing Jeter, that will be changed, or toned-down..

Swings change. If you are fooled by the pitch your swing will look different.
To me it looked like he swung early.
