I certainly don't think they're doing that, lol. Kushgamer & the rest of the team are probably pretty shocked & discouraged by some of the disappointment on OS so far. I think we can expect them to get the official 2K8 site updated pretty quickly as of now.
The Show does look much better at this point, but I'll pass judgment on 2K8 till I see more footage..... especially some PS3 videos.Comment

I was hoping I'd be blown away, and I'm definitely not, but maybe that's okay. I probably had unrealistic expectations. Hearing the same organ and same commentary was more than a little disheartening, though. I'm not going to judge solely based on the videos, since the preview sounded pretty optimistic, but I was really hoping I'd watch the videos and think, "Man, that looks a lot like MVP."Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and

I didn't mean it litterally I am sure that they do feel bad for every negative comment they get and I feel bad that everyone is dissapointed but I mean come on seriously Big Ben talked BIG about this years title and I really honestly am not seeing anything BIG about it.......it looks just like 2k7 and has the same screwups and lacks the same things it would seem. I won't pass anymore judgment until I play the demo but as I have stated the things that the community wanted most can be seen in a 10 second video of a hit and they just aren't there which is why I am dissapointed.Comment

After watching the vids again, I'm not sure if the choppiness is the video or the game. Maybe a little of both, as it seemed inconsistent, as in it wouldn't skip at the same moment each time I watched. Also, I was streaming them. I don't notice it when I'm playing. That said, I didn't find it to be a huge issue last year, but that's just me. Even though I did notice it last year, it didn't really bother me. I can assure you that this was worked on, so anyone who's saying its worse than 2K7 is just plain wrong.
Just wait and play the demo and/or rent the game and see for yourselves.Comment

I honestly think you guys are trashing this game way too hard. The guys playing had meatball pitches being thrown left and right and you ask why there were HR's. I was disappointed bu im not to the point where im done w/ 2K. Its 4 vids on IGN. the graphics still look good, I like the throwing meter, pitching looks like casual people will have to learn the game instead of simplistic pitching. Wait and see, and I swear I will snap if I see another comment saying: yayz im so glad I have a PS3 or The Show OMG. This is a 2K forum. You can trash the game but I dont have to hear about The Show every other postComment

My question is.... If it's the stream, why is the choppiness prevalent when you download the videos? That wouldn't have to do with streaming the video.
It could have something to do with the way the videos were recorded though. We really have no clue what IGN did or didn't do.Comment
