George, it's in the menu where you view the controls. I think you use the bumpers to cycle the two options. Same way you switch the hitting options.

          Wow, that is deep.

I'm definitely going to have to pick this back up now. I tend to get too fixated on the graphics and animations. I believe I can put those aside and appreciate the good the game does offer.

MLB Today Season Mode is something I want to sink my teeth into as well.

That's the one thing I miss most playing The Show, the 2K player card info.

Agreed. Unfortunately for me the disparity in on field game play trumps the disparity in stats reporting.

I'd love to combine 2k's franchise and MLB today season modes with The Show's gameplay.

Stuck playing day games all the time gets old.

Other than that, really enjoying the game play

One thing that really helps me appreciate 2k12 is to watch the game reel at the end of the game. The camera angles they use for that are beautiful. I wish they would incorporate them better in game.

I still can't believe the difference in the abilty for me to play an online game with MLB 2K12 vs The Show 12. Every game online with 2K I have played with little to no problems. With The Show, it takes 2 or 3 game freezes where i have to restart my PS3 until I can play an online game.

Why can't Sony buy out 2K?

Since you only have a 360, what other choice do you have? 2K12 is the best baseball game for the 360.

I'm aware of that, what I'm asking is: is it worth the $60+ ?

It's definitely worth a buy. MLB Today is a blast. There are some things you have to overlook graphically and animation-wise, but in the end, the game is fun.
