After getting off to a hot start my Braves have cooled recently, losing four of their last six games. We're currently 9-7 and tied with Philly for first place the NL East.

Offensively, the team has been great with Chipper (.367, 17 rbi, 3 hr), Bourn (.349, 8 sb) and Heyward (.315, 9 rbi, 2 hr) all off to great starts. However, pitching and defensive has been our Achilles’ heel. We're currently 11th in the NL in ERA and 13th in BAA. We're 10th in fielding percentage with nine errors so far. Uggla and Pastornicky have accounted for 5 of those.

We go to Los Angles for a three game set against the Dodgers, then back home for four games with Pittsburgh, to round out April. I'll post my full stats at the end of each month.

How long does a game take if you only bat? I want to play an entire season but 162 games feels like forever.

After playing a season where I would play about 80 games and SIM the rest. I am really looking forward to playing EVERY single game, and then seeing how my stats pan out. I say that now, and playing 162 is my overall goal....but who knows.

I am sure 162 games is going to feel like forever, but that's the grind of the MLB right?

Just started my mariners chise with new rosters. Wish me luck. Their team and triple a is loaded with outfielders and imma try and unload some outfielders for infielders n pitching

We are at 8-9 as we beat the Cubs, 4-3 at Wrigley.

It's really tough seeing the ball in the 8th and 9th innings on a sunny day when the sun starts to set!

Workin on tweakin my mariners team I traded franklin Gutierrez to Yankees along w Heilman for Robertson. Also traded Steve delabar for brad beach of Padres. Traded Kevin mill wood to reds for Jordan smith who will be rp in aaa. Also traded minor league of to angles for 1b do triple a. Also i needed inf for triple a so I dealt Darren ford to Nara for lonbardozzi. And my best move was shipping chone figgins to nyy for freddy Garcia . Bout to play game opener

I have kinda slowed my Royals chise down.. Wanting to wait for the opening day rosters to see if some one has a complete set to start over with. And Ill probably go with either the Marlins or Pirates.

2013 has gotten off to a less than great start. The A's are 17-20 in Mid May. Which would be ok, but I'm getting killed on injuries this year. Freddie Freeman and Brandon Allen are both on the DL along with my backup catcher and my number 5 starter. And Cespedes is riding the pine with shin splints at the moment. I've got a very youthful and cobbled together lineup at the moment. I'm playing Colin Cowgill at first because I want no part of Daric Barton getting starts at 1b. I mostly biding my time for his stupid contract to run out.

What is up with the Astros? They are leading the division right now 1.5 games ahead of Cincy and 5 games ahead of me!

I know. They led the division until I took the lead from them and stood at 2nd until well past the AS Break (I bombed them in a series and then they started the free-fall).

As for me...after battling hard against the Rockies in the NLCS, my Pirates fell to them tonight 4-3, losing a heartbreaking game 7. On to 2013.

Finally above .500, even though I got destroyed by the Yankees.

Question: anyone else getting hit by the injury bug? my list of players that have gone to the DL: Michael Bourne, Freddie Freeman, Brian McCann, Jason Heyward, Beachy and now Dan Uggla. It's been tough, but seems to parallel real life. Only a minute before it hits Chipper right?

Phillies Improve to 4-2, take 1st win in 2012 over Mets.

Cliff Lee in his 2nd start was brillant through 3 innings not allowing a hit and striking out 3, but to begin the 4th inning he would allow his first hit of the game and the Mets would strike first with a 2r homer from David Wright; a bomb to Left Field. That lead wouldn't last long as Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey did not have his best stuff and surrendered a base knock to Victorino and 2r blast from Hunter Pence; his 1st HR of the yr. RBI singles from Carlos Ruiz and Ty Wiggington would give Philadelphia the lead, and Cliff Lee would only allow 2 more hits, retiring 10 in a row at one point, and go the distance in a 4-2 win against the Mets.

In every sports game I always select a team that has never won a championship so this year I decided to go with Seattle. Right now I am 17-18 using a very good slider set I have finally decided to play on. The thing I most want to mention is I absolutely love the hot and cold streaks especially when they kick in a month into your franchise, ichiro is on a tear leading the league in hits batting avg and runs, his hot streak has his overAll at 95 and he is money for me right now, batting .417 with 52 hits and 31 runs, I also have two other hitters, smoak and ackley on hot streaks thanks to the rbis they get with ichiro constantly on base bringing their overalls to low 90 s and lately I've been feeling like I have an all star team despite my record. I average about 6 runs a game the past 2 week stretch, the problem is king Felix went on DL for 60 days and vargas is on 120 so my rotation leaves something to be desired. But in spite of that I am having an absolute blast with 2k12. This is one heck of a baseball game and I own both but 2k has won me over.
