The "zone" hitting (it's not really, we call it "cursorless" around here for lack of a better term) works out pretty well. Since it's more intuitive (and therefore easier) than cursor, we sped up pitch speeds to compensate. On every difficulty level except Rookie, pitches come at actual speed (i.e. a 97MPH fastball is moving at 97 MPH). There's an option to slow it down if you want, though. Increasing difficulty (or using crappy hitters) will require you to aim more precisely to make good contact (or contact at all). Hit variety with this mechanism is better than last year, since we've also tweaked the batted ball physics (i.e. bridging the gap between contact and power swings so that they aren't as different from each other as they were last year).

How do you "aim" with a cursorless interface? I loved your no cursor approach last year, very similar to High Heat. Has it changed much?

1. I know it's been asked already, but I really want to know about the schedule from year to year--especially whether the inter-league schedule rotates.

2. I doubt you can, but is there any way you can do a position lock? For instance, where you play only the pitcher?

A few questions:
1) Is there a manage-only mode?
2) Does everyone have the same swing animation like last year?
3) what player-specific animations have been added this yr?

B. In CPU vs CPU games.. What kind of scores are there.. IN ASB, the scoring was very low and that was a game killer for me. No Offense... Pitchers ERA's were way to low.. Never any walks.

C.. Is there a One pitch type of play...

D.. Most important, In CPU games, what are the pitch counts. DO you get any walks..???? Will the CPU make adjustments, Bunt, steal, sacrifice, Chang pitchers.. ??

E.. To me, CPU vs CPU games are the most important.. That is the heart of the game.. If the CPU plays realistic baseball, the Arcade style will be great and pretty realistic. If the CPU games don't play well... Then it will be very difficult to get any realism out of the game.

F.. In a simmed season, Do the stats come out realistic.?

Just one question...

Are bunts fielded better this year? Last year, I would get way too many singles off of bunts that were intended to be sacrifice bunts. I just stopped bunting because it was an easy way to get a hit.
