      Oh, never knew that.

Why would you want to go off of the staff of the greatest message board I've ever been on?

Anyways, FP, even though I'm not part of the staff, can I still be a name? COL.

FP, not sure if this has been answered but with the new zone type hitting (no cursor) , If the pitch is in the top left zone, will I miss the ball if I don't aim at that particular zone?

Also, Do you find this type of hitting more challenging than cursor hitting?

Well, I'll not exactly answer this question, but I'll contradict what your theory is on their Zone hitting. In a way, literally, their hitting is Zone hitting, but it's not just 9 zones. It's probably more like 900 zones! It's as far as you aim up, down, left, or right.

Like I said in another thread (or maybe this thread, but earlier on where you might not have read it), it's like a polar graph, only you can surface anywhere around it rather than just (30*, 5) or something. HOWEVER, you can hit (30*, 5) with the zone hitting, you just have to aim 30* up from center, and 5 units right (not sure how many units there are on this game, probably an unlimited amount).

Another way to say it is you can think of pitching in WSB 2K3 (if you played it). Think of the pitching cursor. Not touching the L-Analog stick keeps the pitch right down the middle. Tilting the stick left more and more will move the ball placement that much more and more left. The more sensitive of a force you have in the direction of the analog stick, the farther from the middle (in that particular direction) your ball placement will be. So, think of it like that, only you don't have a square parameter to pitch in... since it's like a polar graph, it is, like FatPitcher said, 360 degrees (a circle), so there aren't necessarily any corners to pitch to or anything. So, think of the pitching from last year, only you're hitting, you have 360 degrees to work with, and it's not visible, you judge where your aim is yourself.

Sure, it's hard to explain, but yeah... those the best (and most complicating) analogies that I can use.
