      Fatpitcher,

Whats in the future for Blue shift in terms of other sega sports projects? I've seen many wanting ESPN boxing, tennis, and college football... Is sega sports looking to go in any of those directions and would you guys handle one of those projects? What would you like to see the next project be just from a gamer's standpoint?

We worked on the player model some to reduce awkward positions and movements, and we also cleaned up/redid a ton of faces.

I'm not really involved with those kinds of discussions, so I wouldn't know. From the sales charts I've seen, though, I don't think they could turn a profit doing the less mainstream sports games.

I would like to see more sports-like games that aren't so focused on mimicking real-life aspects of various games. Some of my favorite "sports" games are titles like Speedball, Mutant League Football, Cyberball, Baseball Simulator 2.000, Baseball Stars, etc. There's certainly always going to be a place for realistic sports games, but when you are restricted by official rules and regulations, real players and stadiums, realistic physics, etc., you have fewer opportunities to come up with fun, unique gameplay elements.
