I have a question regarding wind.

In 2K3, it seemed that the wind blew in the same direction most of the time in a given stadium. I played a lot of games in Comiskey, and it seemed to me that the wind was blowing in and to the right, pretty much every game, at approximately 9 mph. It was near constant. Was that an actual issue, and has it been addressed?

Also, will the flags blow in relation to the wind direction? Will they stop blowing altogether if there is no wind? In the past, I believe they always blew to the right, no matter what was going on with the actual wind.

Not sure on this, never paid attention to wind...

any new double play animations we will go crazy over? i know all star baseball's behind the back flip is nice, but i'm sure it'll get old...

Overall, i was very impressed with the demo...everyone says it's "the same game" but it's not i saw hits to parts of the park previously unreachable for one.

            FatPitcher,

I just got one quick requestion that I just would like to be reminded about. The 2 newest trades and signings will be apart of ESPN right? I'm talking about A-Rod to the yankees and Maddox (misspelled I know) to the Cubs.
UL's QB Lamar Jackson, yeah that kid is good!!!

                  Re: Any questions?

The tips and tricks video brought up questions I have..

1 - In WSB 2K3, the player potential was the same leeter thing BUT it was not always accurate due to the skill level of your scout. Is this still the case? I mean, if you have a crappy scout and he claims that a guy only has C level potential is that always the case or, if you fire hire and hire a better scout, could that player then show a B or A level for potential?

2 - The camera still looks stuck to the ground like last year. Is this always the case? Is there ever a camera angle that lifts farther off the ground DURING gameplay... On a huge fly ball, for example? Is it only during replays/cutscenes that new cameras come into play?

I think last years cameras were my biggest complaint with the game. You could never really see the stadiums. I hope that isnt the case this year as well...

                  Thanks.

You're right. However, the cutscenes are meant to show off the stadiums, while the regular fielding cameras are meant to... well... give you a better sense of the hit. They apparently added a different FOV for the camera angle, giving the ball a better sense of speed aswell. Hits down the line, throwing across the diamond, etc., are a whole lot smoother. You will see a lot more of the field than the stadiums. My guess is that replays and cutscenes will try to make up for it the best they can (and there are a LOT of cutscenes).

                              1. are there any animations for defensive players sliding feet first?

                              2. are there infield bobbles by defensive players on sharply hit balls into the ground?

                              3. are there different slide animations depending on when the user reacts to the play, like a later press of the slide button initiates a slide animation which carries the baserunner over the bag?

                              4. will there ever be a "tag" button where the user has to initiate the tag on the base runner?

                              5. can you tell VC to make a 6 on 6 indoor volleyball game please, much like Dig and Spike Volleyball on SNES
