I'd also argue that Kush's ESPN College Hoops was the best basketball title at E3.

I'm delighted to hear that they're taking over for Blue Shift for next year's ESPN baseball title.
No, don't get me wrong, I'm MORE than delighted that they took over, I just never expected them was the thing... I thought it was possibly going to be VC or WOW Entertainment.

The only reasons why I wanted it to be VC over somebody else was because:

        1) They've made a baseball game before.
        2) I was hoping for this baseball game to possibly include Triple Pass Rendering, but I don't know if Kush did that as well in their hockey game.

Have never played the hockey game, but after having played the college hoops version, YUCK. I really hope that Kush knows what it is doing, or we'll get one f the following:

            (a) total rebuild, and thus the marketing team will just hype this game like hell with statements like "never seen before" and implement only small, incremental improvements for years or

            (b) the game will degrade in quality of gameplay as it either becomes a full arcade type game like Triple Play '99 or a pretty realistic game like High Heat (sub-par graphics).

"College Hoops" wasn't the prettiest game last year, to be sure - but it played an awfully nice game of hoops. Much better than either "NBA Live" or "ESPN NBA" last year, IMO.
At E3, "College Hoops" looked much, much better - nearly on par with last year's "ESPN NBA".

This is a good move. I think "ESPN's" baseball game desperately needs fresh blood. It was obvious to me that Blue Shift had more than run their course with the title...

I hope next years game will have full minor leagues like MVP & actual faces.

They seem to be doing a good job with the other games, so hopefully they'll be able to patch up the weak spots in baseball for next season. It's definitely not going to be easy for them, though. A lot of the code base needs replacing, either because it's legacy code that wasn't very good, or because it was licensed (Renderware, etc.)."

Yeah Triple Pass Rendering is in ESPN NHL 2k5. I would expect the same for ESPN MLB 2k6.

i dont like what kush did with the college basketball, but i am more than happy with the hockey game...either way change (as long as it is in a forward direction) is good. Blue Shift did a good job, but it's a new day, just please Kush dont screw this up. And for god sakes fix all of the batting stances so that Cliff Floyd actually bats like Cliff Floyd. In the last three versions of baseball, you would have to go to the edit menu and give Cliff FLoyd (amongst other) there own custom batting stance, and it still was not accurate...baseball needs accuracy.
When you see it...you'll know what it is...

kuch will bring the change of pace to the series!!...blue shift doesn't know what to do next..they need to be assigned to..making a college football game or something of that matter!!!..vc needs to over look most of their projects by the way..

kuch made espn college hoops 2k4...& that was the best bball game last year.without a doubt!!..now vc took over & put them on nhl..

i trust kuch with a baseball game!!..i'd trust them with the football game next year too!!!..leaving vc time to do lots of research on making a college football game...
