Yep I noticed that too. That's a bit odd. I hope the person playing the game skipped some something or it's something that gets fixed in the final version of the game.

Not a huge thing but it would sure help with some strategy in late/close games.

don't forget that there is turbo throw button, so some of those floatty threws I think weren't being used with the turbo throw.

Why should we have to use a 'turbo button' to fix their mess? Sorry, that's just not realistic. Looking more and more like it's:

#1 MLB2005
#2 ESPN Major League Baseball 2K5
#3 MVP 2005 (possibly tied with #2)

And this is coming from someone who played Major League Baseball 2K4 more than any other game.

Just finished watching both movies.

Btw, it's not a full game.

With the new pitching mechanic it looks like games could take a good hour or more to complete judging by the video.

I just don't like how the ball floats after it's put into play. I can't pinpoint what it is, but it doesn't look right. Maybe it's the way the camera tracks the ball.

Moving shadows during the game. YES!!

Foul ball cut scenes look great!

I agree with the ball physics as on throws its looking kinda lollipoppish.

I also thought it was intersting how the player models for Mike Piazza, Mike Cameron, Arod and Pedro Martinez all seemed very similar...Not much differentiation in body type...In fact if it was not for a few different batting stances I'd have to say that all the player models llook alot alike.

I can't really call it but the game looks great at times and very CORNY at times...The more video I see the less this game excites me

I won't be very disappointed with this game because based on the media and interviews I'm really not expecting much...Hopefully by the time th4e next gen systems roll in they will have this game fine tuned properly...But for now I will expect 2 years of mediocrity

Is anybody else a little annoyed that they have the circle change breaking the wrong way again this year? I know it is not the biggest of issues, but it is pretty common baseball knowledge that a circle change breaks the opposite way of a slider, not the same way.

All i care about is gameplay. I don’t care about presentation or franchise ect.

That being said I'm going to rent MLB and 2k5 and decide after that. I wont rent MVP this year because it nearly mirrors last years and I didn't enjoy MVP in the slightest as far as gameplay is concerned.

I hope that MLB 2K5 can match the great game play of ESPN MLB 2K4 and if it does it could be the second best sports game of the year now that the presentation is much improved. I am not impressed at all with MVP baseball so MLB 2K5 should easily be the best baseball game this year which is likely to be a very poor year for video baseball games. MLB 2K5 is our only hope!
