You have to consider the source. He might still be hurting from the beatdown he took over in the Pro Football Forum over Tom Brady.NoSkilz is prone to over the top statements with little to no backing of anything but his personal opinion. But hey, this all isn't real. It's supposed to be for fun. Right?
Note to Tiburon Marketing:
A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)

Re: IGN Play of the Day (possibly a full game, over 200 MB)
When I play baseball games, I actually play every game in a season. After playing last years version and watching these vids, I dont see much that gets me excited. The game just dosnt seem fun. The animations are awful and the sound is bad. The graphics are good but like I said, the anaimations are not upto par. Animations are one of the main things that draws you into a sports game. I see MLB (989) and MVP and I saw "cool" or "wow" or "neat" and I dont get any of those from watching these vids. Maybe im not seeing something you guys are but im not even considering getting this anymore unless the game gets high praise. Ill wait for some reviews for MLB 2006 to come in before I make my choice between MVP and that.Comment

I just watched the first movie and joe morgan actually aknowledged that a guy in the crowd said something bad about jeter. That was cool.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I'll take that question....
They sorta look..weird... like the the throw animation. They throw like a girl or something. Their arm doesn't really go far enough back, and it looks like it's just wrist mostly.
Watch a MLB 2006 video and compare to MLB 2k5 video to see what I mean.
Maybe watch a real life video too.
-The GrinmanHornets to Seattle? Hmmm....Comment

My main gripe with fielding animations:
The leaps/dives. They are VERY slow, which may affect the outcome of the play.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
