Been real busy everyone, hence the reason why no response in the last couple days. For those people who feel they are not getting enough offense the only option is to raise the AI Skill Slider. I would suggest raising it to 35. This should help, without giving you a huge hitting advantage.

ulua, you my friend are the definition of a "PATIENT User" Try these AI Pitching Sliders & see how they work:

AI Throw Strike Overall: 35
AI Throw Strike Ahead: 30
AI Throw Strike Behind: 25

If your eye is that good i would suggest you bumping the pitch speed up one notch at a time til you find reading the pitches a little more challenging. maybe setting pitch speed to 52 or 53.

Thanks well try, but the issue was not so much the pitch speed,
but becasue the AI throw stikes ahead/behind was so low, this
forces the AI to throw more balls and for them to throw balls they where throwing alot of wild pitches and missing the corners
by alot witch made it easy for me to just site back and it got to
the point where I knew balls was coming already so I basically
just site back and take the walk, but now that Joe gave me some
new AI pitch sliders i'm finding it challanging now casue now they
got me guessing. Thanks Joe for the update i'm liking what I see

i'm using your sliders posted on page 1. so far there has been like 1 run each game. i'm finding it impossible to score runs through like 10 games with the blue jays. what, on the sliders, should i adjust and what should i leave alone

Yes, it has been an issue on these boards since the game came out.
The CPU just doesnt steal bases no matter what the sliders are set at.

what slider would tone down my pitching to allow more walks. I hardly allow any, and I'm throwing gems.

I'd suggest turning the Total Control Pitching up, no? Although that might amount to a ton of meatballs being hit for homers. I'd think if the TCP was turned way up and AI Hitting's Skill and/or Contact and Power were turned down, that might get you what you're looking for. Just guessing though.
