Do you user power swing or does classic not have it?

I use the stick and rarely use power swing. I turned hum power up to 100 to see if I could get HR's without it and that is pretty much a no go. I can barely hit them using power.

I think I've hit 1 with Miguel Cabrera and 2 with Victor Martinez.
The other 6 or so HR's have come from me playing with other teams and guys lower in the lineup (6+)

I am using classic hitting there is no power button. I am getting closer though in my last game J.Lopez (56 power) just missed a homer, cool thing I thought is was gone. And I also hit one to dead center with S.Smith that was caught at the wall. I am thinking about 85 power for human to see if guys with lower power numbers can get a homer now and then. My thinking is Gonzalez and Tulo are gonna hit the Homers anyway at 80 so at 85 it wont help them it just opens the door for the other guys.

Maybe I'll try classic but I was hoping my days of pushing a button were over LOL

I'm not sure what the difference would be but maybe its easier to time since there is less motion with a button.

I'll just try it I guess.


As for the Composure slider (or any really) , to see if its backward or even working at all, just set it to its extreme either way. You might not notice a change with +/-5 but you will if its +/- 50

Boxer, you definitely want Pitcher composure at max. 5 for both. I have been using 0 and get great games. Dont think the final verdict is in yet.

Go with everything else though

I think 0 is good. Especially if were gonna keep Pitch Meter Speed @ a high #.

Also thinking about moving AI SZT to 40 & AI PBI to 60.

Played a play now game with 1st page settings. I was mainly concentrating on hits and wasnt concentrating on gettong walks etc...(also didnt see the suggestion to play at 5 composure in time so i played it with whatever front page says)
Played a game against Orioles:
I had 8 hits and the O's had 5
We won 2-1
Yankee runs came from a solo shot by Cano and one from Tex
Oriole run cam from a Luke Scott sac fly RBI in the 6th.
I had a no hitter through 5

Going to play one now with composure at 0

Walks are there, my thought on this comes from people claiming the AI is throwing too many pitches in the strike zone, which then is to a lot of User hits.

I dont see this at all. I draw from 2-8 walks every game. I had 5 last game and 4 the game before. The strike % in every game I have played is in that 63-68% for the CPU. I know some guys are aggressive and like to swing alot which is ok, but their K's are much higher too.

The other day Dallas Braden had me all messed up with those change-ups and sliders and K'ed me 8 times and pitched alot of strikes, but I did chase alot also.

Imo the pitching settings are perfect. I know there will be a hand full of guys that can get 12+ hit games all the time with these sliders and with composure at 0, but I bet the majority wont.

The only thing I would like to see is more CPU errors. Other then that I am really happy with the results and flow of the games.

Looks like a nice tight game. Curiuos to see your results with 0 composure.

I haven't tried 70. My thought is this slider should be set to where the user has more control over how much power they want to have with any given pitch. Right now it seems as if you are rushing the gestures which are making them feel some what un-natural..
