Joe I need ur help man, Im assuming ur still playing this game since its much better than the previous 2 years by a long shot........I am using a combo of everyone sliders on here and have most set it stone, big problem im having is a HUM power.........You still have urs set at 85, but u have not updated in about a month, I also use total control hitting like you and a few other, Blazzen and JHB use total control and have the power at 60 and 70, but urs is at 85........I usually go along with whatever changes you do, I have since the early early 2K days. Have u been playing and noticed that 85 is in fact too high? I am not too sure right now because i have been going between 85, 80, 75, 70 and David Wright for me is going crazy like too crazy with homeruns yet everyone else is not, no im confused, any help would be great

For me 70 Power has been the sweet spot. 70 Power was my original setting, but many were claiming that it wasn't enough power for those players who hit anywhere between 1-10 HR a year, that's why I raised it.

My original set had these hitting sliders:

Hum: Contact 30/Power 70
CPU: Contact 35/Power 70

I was getting some good games with these. I haven't played much in the last couple of weeks. Been kind of busy. (Started doing the GYM thing after work) I say give the above settings a try & see how they work

No Problem. Keep me posted on how this works. Also those numbers were before I decide to drop the Pitcher Composure Sliders, so your results will definitely vary

i'm pretty surprised to see everyones power sliders so high. am i missing something here? i'm in franchise with the jays (albeit they are probs the most powerful team in the majors) and i have a couple players (bautista/snyder) within the top 10 HR hitters in the league, bautista has 8, snyder has 7. lind has 4 or so, rivera has 5, encarnacion has 3. i'm 2nd in the AL in homers as a team. HOWEVER my power is set at 55, contact at 35. cpu pitch speed is 70.

i'm just curious b/c i seem to have found a good power number with 55, but then again other than an inside the park homerun by rajai davis, my lower power guys have zero homeruns (rajai, yunel). also arrencibia only has 1. just surprised these high power slider settings aren't producing ridiculous amounts of homeruns for you guys.

I think with it that low u will 0 homeruns from them all year and CPU Pitcher success means alot also, I have mine at 75

Testing all Batting & CPU Pitch Success @ 50.(From the LEGEND Setting) Played 1 MLB Today yesterday Yanks V Blue Jays. Won the 4-3. Hits were basically identical. I saw a lot more ground balls. Also so this amazing play. Watch Cano . That's the 1st time I've seen that animation. All in all I really enjoyed how those changes played

How is the 50pwr and 50success looking for ya joe, I am pretty set on all sliders except these 2, I have tried 50/50 60/60 75/75 a combo of all of them, It seemed like 50 success had them pitching better than 75, it was weird, I have tried everything and in the last like 10 games I have 1 HR, yet in the beggining of my season I was hitting TOO many HR;s lol but after all these edits to sliders I dont even remember what it was then, I think it was 85pwr and 70 success, but then 75/75 shoulda produced me somthing, I dunno......very confused on these 2 sliders

I have my pitch success at 40 and SZT at 45 with power at either 50 or 55 and contact at 35. I've played a few games lately and usually get one HR a game, but I did get 2-3 HR with the Cardinals. Last game I played against the A's, McCann hit a walk off for me in the 14th to win the game 3-2.

as I've said before HR'S are all dependent/TIED into the timing of your swing. In the 1 game I played, I hit a HR with Cano.

Like I said earlier I had hit 1 HR in 8-10 games...........had CPU success at 50 and HUM pwr at 55 now, just played 2 games in ban box of Philly, 1st game 3 HR's, 2nd game 8 HR's sooooooooooooooooo I think this game really just has ur team go on hot power streaks and cold power streaks, I remember back in the 2k6 2k7 and 2k8 days this happened alot which made full seasons very fun, but I remember then it happened for certain players not full teams at once..........2K6 I remember having like 30 HR's with Cliff Floyd thru 100 games then him ending with only 39

Been having some truly realistic games with your sliders. When they finally release the pc patch I think this game will improve from a 7 to a 9 imo.

Glad your enjoying the sliders. Will probably make some tweaks post patch if needed. Right now the default 50 for Hitting & Pitching is the only update

Been away from the forum for a while. I see the last "update" was done April 1...have any changes to the set been made? It's been a couple months since I've played the game, going to have to reestablish my timing lol. Thanks Joe.

Glad your enjoying the sliders. Will probably make some tweaks post patch if needed. Right now the default 50 for Hitting & Pitching is the only update
