Moving variabilty up makes pitches less accurate. I've settled on a setting of 58. There's no Wildness slider, I think wildness is handled with the confidence meter. I tend to hit batters when I have low confidence and I try and throw inside.

I've also lowered human power to 42 and decreased human pitcher fatique to 48.

Also bumped CPU power back up to 48 while lowering contact to 47, they were hitting too many choppers off the plate on low pictches that were way out of the zone. I also increased their tendency to take a strike by 2, and their Hitting "skill" by 2.

The CPU pitchers seem to "hone in" on one spot of the strike zone at times so I increased their "Change Location" to 55 and nibble at corners by 1 for more borderline pitches.

The game is playing great for me so far, I'm almost at the All-Star break but I only really played around 20 games and simmed the rest. Every game is just a completely different experience. I think this is the best baseball game ever.

weird, I dont remember seeing that in the retail version, maybe they took it out...or maybe I just missed it, but I dont think so.
