Regarding the fuzzy grass, that can be fixed by setting the video card's Anisotropic Filtering to 8X. I can't decide if the 8X setting slows down the game or not, so I tried it with 2X and 4X which worked also. Just as long as it's not set to app-controlled.

As far as gameplay, at Dodger Stadium I hit a ground ball which hit in front of the plate, then bounced hard and low over the 3rd baseman's head into leftfield. When I hit it I thought it was a nice hard line drive down the line, and was shocked when the replay showed it bouncing once off the dirt.

Not really sure if this belongs here or not, but twice in back to back innings of a game I played last night I had a pop up to first base with a runner on first. The runner would take a couple steps away from first after the catch was made and my first baseman either tagged him or the bag for the out. Once looked like it was just the base, the other looked like it was the runner. Either way both were double plays. No reason the runner should be doing that on a pop up to first.

Yeah, but we really shouldn't *have* to do that... It can really kill performance...

          --------------------

Here's a real good one. It appears to be a major animation error involving double plays. This one blew my mind and I had to make a short vid of the instant replay.

The quality sucks and the fps is awful so I had it replay in slow motion so it would be a little more clear what was happening. The actual move of the second baseman was a very smooth glide in reality...

Essentially, the SS made a wild throw to second base in an attempt to start a double play. The second baseman caught the ball several feet off base but when the time came to throw to first, he simply glided (very quickly) over to second before making the throw. BTW, watch the second base ump closely. That's right; he still called the runner at second safe even though the second baseman beat him to the bag in his glide (which is the reason why I figured that it was only an animation error)...

I think i've found a bug: when the cpu steals and the ball gets earlier the the runner, it seems like my freakin 2b or ss can't get the tag in time... The freakin ball is ther before!!!!

This isn't a game killer, but I found something that bothers me. I started an owner's mode with the Twins and I switched Santana and Radke around in the rotation so Radke is my #1 and Santana is my #2. When I went to play my first game Santana was highlited as my starter even though he was in my #2 slot. On my second game Silva was highlited even though he was in the #3 slot. This isn't a big deal, but before each game I have to make that I'm starting the next guy in the rotation.

I know this complaint is lame, but I'm glad that this is my biggest complaint after last year's fiasco.

I have an Athlon FX-53, 6800GT, and 1 gig of ram and the game stutters like Mel Tillis. Did EA put out a patch last year to help the stuttering in '04? I looked around a little and never found a patch. So what I'm asking is, is it likely EA will patch this problem?

It's really unbelievable that they screwed us 2 years in a row with the exact same problem. I'm telling you, EA could care less about the consumer.

I just had a reliever come in but the starter was the leadoff hitter the next half inning as if he was never replaced.
