Your nitpicking that rareley happens at all during the baseball season. Its a video game and your not gonna get every nook and cranny in the programming especially with the errors. Normaly a guy pitches 1 or 2 relief innings

You just took me totally out of context. Look at what I was responding to, then you'll understand why I said that.

          To clarify a few things:

          1. Scorers cannot just randomly award saves. The rules listed are the ones used. What's next, scorers awarding homeruns?

          2. A starting pitcher must pitch into the second half of a 9 inning game, or until it's official. This means that a starter for the visiting team has to pitch 5 innings, a starter for a home team has to pitch 4 2/3 innings.

Also a question about bugs. I have noticed that these bobble errors do not happen all the time on PS2, but just rarely, wondering what you guys are playing on?

i just had a glitch in my last game..A's-Yankees...Sheffield hit a liner down to 3rd base..i made diving stop down the line w/ Chavez, i was ready to throw to first, but it just cut back to Sheffield at bat..the ball was clearly fair, but it didnt count for some reason and the announcer called it a foul ball

Minor glitch that probably only happens in this exact circumstance, which is probably rare:

Carlos Beltran hits an opposite field 2-run HR (as a lefty) off of Carlos Zambrano at Wrigley that lands in the stands and then bounces back down into the ivy on the OF wall. Because it landed in the ivy it was ruled a ground rule double. The announcers called it a HR and the HR text appeared first and then the ground-rule double text and audio came on.

I lost that game on MVP level with MVP fielding 2-1.

I'm sure they have the logic written so that any ball that goes into the ivy is a ground-rule double so it was a total fluke that it bounced back out of the stands and into the ivy. Still sucked royally though.

The game froze on me last week when I was in the middle of trying to turn a 4-3 Double Play.

It may have been an "assisted" fielding problem. Yes, I'm lazy I don't like to field the ball. I like just having to throw it after it is fielded for me. Brings back memories of Earl Weaver baseball when you had no control over the fielder until he got to the ball.

Anyway, the second baseman "Bellhorn" fielded a grounball close to the 2nd base bag on "assisted" so I ran him towards the base instead of flipping the ball to Renteria. The umpire said out. Then the bleeping slow baserunner kept coming and hit me when my throw meter was almost into the red for my throw to 1st.

Game froze then and there with the meter and everything else including a god awful noise of "Ooooooooooooooooooooout".

No more running to the base to get the out for me. I'll keep tossing or throwing the ball to get the outs.

I heard on other boards that in this years MVP 2005 if you you hit a ball in the triangle area (CF area) in Fenway the ball gets stuck and you have a sinch inside the park HR. I know it was true in 2004 but has anyone witnessed this in the 2005 version?
