Couple of glitches I've seen thus far. Have'nt checked out the entire thread so I dont know if they've already been mentioned.

1. In a 2 player game I played, my friend made a mistake and stole home on the pitch. When I was given control of the catcher, I had a few seconds before the runner got there so I moved off the plate and went to tag the runner. Needless to say, the runner slid straight through me and was given the run.


2. In a game I played against the cpu, I saw that the cpu was gonna attempt a sac bunt. So I set my defense for a sac bunt. When the guy bunted the ball, it went towards the first base side. Now, my first basemen who was in excellent position to pick the ball up and tag the runner out.....this fool just ran straight up towards first base and left the ball rolling and I was given control of the pitcher who at this point was to late to make a throw. So in other words, the sac bunt defensive alignment is screwy. I did'nt say its broken because I'm sure if the ball was hit a little more harder, my 1B would of picked it up and made a perfect play. But as soon as the ball made contact with the bat, he sprinted up to first disregarding the ball.

Put this in the PC glitch department:

Not sure if this is showing up across the board or whatever, but all grass in my version of the game is extremely "noisy" and flickering really hard during the introduction of the game. When they are panning across the field, the grass looks like its animating, when obviously it shouldn't be. This is happening in all stadiums.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem on PC? I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB (fairly high end card) and am running the game on 1280x1024 32 bits...

I am having the same problem. I posted a pic about it on the Impressions Sticky. I am posting it here also:


And when it's in motion it's much worse.

Has anyone with the pc version set their resolution in the game all the way up? I did and it seemed to help as far as the stuttering graphics. Not 100% fix but it did help some.

Anyone with pc version have a problem seeing pitchers warming up on the side? I went to get a fould ball and nobody was in the bullpen, after the ball went foul they showed up (pitchers started warming up an inning earlier) I only noticed it when I played in Wrigley and SanFrancisco.

He says not a cloud in the sky and no wind when it's cloudy or windy. In SF, it was overcast with no sun and he said it's a nice sunny day or something like that for a baseball game today. LOL

dunno if it's been mentioned so I'll shoot

by no means/any stretch of the imagination a game killer

but I was pitching to Tejada with Schill, and on a foul pitch Miguel broke his bat. Well their was no new bat animation, he just held up the bottome handle when he went back to bat again as the other part of the bat laid along the third baseline. I dunno if the coding would have still been their for him to make contact with where the bat was supposed to be though because I wound up striking him out.

Not really a glitch, but in career stats they have Rick Ankiel listed as playing for TB insted of STL
