    Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread

I'm usually not big on the whole glitch thing as most of them seem miniscule, but I did notice one the other day. I was playing the BoSox with the Yanks and they had runners on first and second. Someone hit a single up the middle. Bernie Williams got the ball and fired to the plate to try and nail the runner. As the ball approached the plate, my catcher Posada just stood there and watched the ball roll under his legs and all the way to the backstop as the runner scored. I did a replay and Jorge did not even attempt to catch the ball, he just stood there and allowed it to roll past him. Meanwhile, after it rolled past him, he wouldn't retrieve it. The game made me bring my first basemen all the way to get it. And what's worse is the runners did not advance.
A small bug, but it annoyed me nonetheless.

        Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread

I have two problems because I couldn't see enough.

One a ball went into the RF corner in Wrigley and I couldn't see it. I had to just guess where it was and hope that I got it.

Same game. Overthrow at home, and it made me the 3B to get it and I couldn't get my guy there because he was off screen. It turns out he was hung up on the dugout or something.

Since no one can advise me on my other thread I am posting this as an offcial glitch. 2 players playing on the same Xbox the computer shows where the ball will locate before it gets to the plate essentailly f**king up 2 player games on the same console. Normally in one player the computer shows you this when you are the pitcher.

There's something really weird with foul balls and the stat overlays. On multiple occasions, when the batter hits a foul ball (non-out), the before at bat stat overlay appears again. Sometimes (maybe all the time), it is for the *next* batter and not the current one.

not sure if its a glitch, but it gets annoying when close plays at first, the runners just don't run through the bag..they seem to pause in the air for a split second and jump at the bag...which usually causes the runner to be out

i also notice sometimes the box in the upper corner that shows the score, sometimes covers up the live scoreboard of the ballparks

I had this happen to me last night. I was playing against the Marlins and Cabrera hit a foul ball, well next thing I know Cabrera turns into Mike Lowell (next batter). It quickly changed back after I hit start. I can live with this glitch

Thats what I thought.. but after seeing it a lot.. I realized its EA's version of having "good presentation" and what it really is... is the stats for the on-deck batter being shown. I think they do this because sometimes in real life... theres a pause between pitches after a foul ball... and in that time a lot of times announcers will talk about the on-deck batter.
