    Re: Owner Mode Tips

Am I the only one that is 2 months into the season and in debt over $2,000,000? I sure hope not because I don't know how I'm going to be able to make any money and upgrade my park. I lose over $500,000 ever time I play an away game.

Well I'm projected to lose 30 million this year, and I just started owner mode. I cut some payroll though so hopefully that will help, and so far I'm on my third day and my bank is under a million. I have a few road games before my first home game. I checked my daily income status and found out that I only lose about $175,000 each day, so each road game I will lose that much. Is that a good amount to lose?

These tips really helped me out. I am now at Level 4 seating (luxury boxes/2nd tier of seats). I am also at Level 2 scoreboard, and I did have Level 2 restaurant but I sold it (trying really hard to save up for seats). Hopefully next year I can get up to Level 5 seating...

Alright I started in owners mode and Listen to the first couple of pages..Change prices on the 7/10 and up importance games and Lower prices on the lower matchups...Use promotional nights on the low matches...Before you start the ownermode I suggest you go into options and got to a large budget..I think you start of with 5 Mill...I bought 2nd level seating when I started with the red sox and only used soda for half a season hehehe..It worked though..GOt more people in the door....Unfortunately I had to get rid of some payroll on the sox..That meant Manny Rameriz and Cleaned up some high paid players that don't deserve to be...I went to free agency and even aaa ballclubs and got some players with good ratings for cheap...I have won the world series with the redsox...I am not really good on this mode but I am making money....It's a lot of work though ahahha..Good luck...

Well I just thought of this. You have half your games at home, and half on the road (81 each). You only make money for home games. So, if you make more money per home game than you lose per away game, you should end up with positive earnings after the year is over. I hope that is correct.

I know it's a pain the butt, but somehow you have to get rid of a couple of big contracts and trade for players with about the same skill but for less money. All of the money that you lose during away games is going towards players salaries. Also lower your ticket prices so that you get close to a full house during your home games. Even if you have to lower them $10 - 15 bucks each, it's better than a half full stadium. Then these people will spend more money in your concessions and stores.
