Yes you gain revenue no matter where you play. So before you start the game you may play in your teams orignal home stadium and still accrue revenue. You will not get more revenue for playing at Yankee Stadium nor will you get less for playing at Kauffman Stadium (Royals) instead of your created park. You make money off that park only, so if you have 20,000 seats you can only make money off those 20,000 seats...hope this helps....Comment

Re: Owner Mode Tips
I've got another question, or actually I'm seeking advice. I'm finally about to get out of the red. I'm a month before the playoff in which I will definitely make barring the worst losing streak in history. Right now I am $1.5 million in the red, but I have 4 home games coming up which are a rating of 7/10 impact rating. For those type games I usually bring in from $500K to $700K in profits, so I'm hoping at the end of the homestand to finally be out of the red for the first time this season (season 1). The advice I need is, once I have money in the bank, should I immediately buy more concessions for my park so I have that extra revenue for playoff time, or should I save my money in hopes to getting $4 million in the bank for the 1st stadium expansion? I don't think I can raise $4 million before the playoffs, so I thought maybe I should just buy the concessions and start earning from them. What do you guys think?
Thanks.

Originally posted by USCTrojan83I would wait for stadium expansion, concesions wont do as much as those extra seats. Play the last 4 game homestand and go to the playoffs. HOPEFULLY you will then have a mill a game (dont forget to increase ticket prices) coming in by 1st playoff game if you have home field advantage. Then buy the stadium upgrade. You wont regret it and you will be making bank about 1 mil a game and if you make it to the WS the cash will keep coming in. Buy concessions during playoffs when you get some more money after the stadium expansion.
Good luck!!

I should have homefield advantage in the playoffs (I still have one month to go) so that's good. I was wondering if I should throw a couple games and return home so I get all my home game money, but I figured that would be kinda cheap of me, but it would give me a little extra money. I don't want to risk losing though, lol.

Re: Owner Mode Tips
also, I only have 3 concessions since I started with the medium budget. I didn't know if that would change your opinion. I realize more seats will give me a whole lot more money, I just don't know if I can swing $4 mil by the end of the playoffs. I'll need to do a little more analysis before I make my decision. I'll probably wait though, but my fans want peanuts!
