I'm currently testing something. Instead of jumping on the seat expansion with the large budget, I just bought a ton of concessions and stores. (I'll load up the file later and post exactly which shops I bought) So far after a few games (5 or less impact, most I think being around 3) I'm getting about $600,000 a game, which I think was pretty similar to what I got with the seat expansion and a couple concessions. I think if you buy enough concessions and shops and set the prices right (still working on that) you can make just as much money (to start, at least) with a modest crowd and a ton of concessions as you can with a big expansion and two vendors. I mean obviously you're gonna want to expand eventually, but I really think starting out you can go either way and be fine. But bear in mind this is all just my own theory.

what is all this medium budget and large budget talk...i just started playing owner mode about a week ago and i didnt see anything about that when i started, where is the option for setting the budget, and whats the difference? this could have really helped me, im on default

You didn't change it so you started with a medium budget, or $2 million to spend, but a large budget gives you $5 million to start off with.

So is there any word on the problem with using your original stadium and not making any money from it? I find it very hard to believe you cant use your original stadium and make money at the same time but thats what people are saying. I did read of someone, though, on MVPMods, that tried playing in their original stadium and ended up making money, so I was wondering if there was any truth to that.

I am not sure what everyone else is doing, but everytime I play @ RFK instead of my created stadium, I make the money from my attendance at the created stadium.

I haven't tried, I will next time I play, but has anyone successfully reduced a star's contract? Just wondering if they will go for that? I don't want to lose Chipper Jones, but his $15 mil is killing me. I would like to drop it a couple mil. Do players go for that?

I've read someone mentioned that Chipper accepted a 3-year, 11 million dollar contract...just add a year or two and make sure it's "indespensible"
