No, that is for people who can not hit as well or wants more offense. ALL 0's are more realistic and challenging!

I have a feeling I will be back to testing the sliders tomorrow. There are just way too many bugs and freezing in MLB 2006. Sucks though, b/c it was/is a great game and I was enjoying it... when it wasn't freezing.

Anyway, I think I'm back with MVP again.

Barring the freezing what do you think is the better game overall?

I haven't had many freezes in MLB but some of the bugs are putting me off a little.

I'd have to say MVP is the winner this year.

I think realistic would be -50 I tried the default settings and though the game played great out the box I started to hit to many homeruns so I dropped everything to -50, tamed everything for me . But what may work for me may not work for others.

I think some of the sliders may even contol different things for example when I had foul ball frequency at 0 I had lots of hits and foul balls but not a lot of k's but when I raised the foul ball freq I got more strikeouts.

I'm not using pared's sliders just so people don't get confused.

I'm having a hard time to stop giving up hits to my opponent. I gave up 18 hits to the Brewers but I scored 3 runs in the 9th in a losing effort. 6-4 was the final. I gave up a total of 31 hits in 2 games.

I'm using Pared's sliders with some tweaks:

                          Pitch Speed: -5
                          CPU Pitcher Ball Rate: 4
                          CPU Pitch Control: -16
                          User Batting Contact: 20
                          CPU Batting Contact: 20
                          User Batting Power: 0
                          CPU Batting Power: -1
                          CPU Swing Frequency: -25
                          CPU Steal Rate: 20

What are some suggestions that I could do to stop giving up so many hits? Is it necessary to change, perhaps the batting power for the CPU? Or leave it as it is?
