I hear everything your saying, Man I'm a huge Mets fan and so are you, I just wouldn't pull the plug on this deal, grated Manny is one of baseball greatest hitters, there just to much bagadge thats come with him, High payroll and pissy attatuide. Plus the Braves would never fear the Mets with or without Manny, The beaves beat the mets so much that the Yankees can switch uni's with the Mets and the Braves would still not be scared of the Mets. The Mets need to beat the braves first, a lineup on paper will do nothing to the braves.....lol

look at who the mets are losing to lately.. who the hell are these pitchers that the rockies and astros are throwing at the mets.. the mets are averaging about 2-3 runs a game.. the mets pitching has been great but thier hitting is just bad.. not clutch hits..

and pedro was as much a pain in the *** as manny when he was in boston.. but i am sure you dont talk smack about him now that he is pitching like a cy young winner..

manny comes here and hits and drives in runs you and all met fans will be on his dick....

I never said he didn't make them better, I'm just being realistic about it. He adds to their line-up, no doub,t but he's not going to make everyone play better. They'll see better pitches, but if you can't hit a fastball batting #3, you can't hit a fastball batting #2.

PLease the Braves are in first place with like 3 rookines in there lineup right now, and if Manny comes to the Mets, the Braves will still beat the Mets with there rookies and with us with Manny. Welp, just got in from work and figured I'd hit up OS and SoSH for the latest in the deadline talks. Net result ... completely overwhelmed with all the Manny talk and everything that's out there. Bottom line, if they move Manny and give up guys like Shoppach and Anibal, Theo has officially started using drugs.

I'm done trying to catch up on all the rumors, I'm just waiting till Sunday and hoping we get a fair chance at Burnett. NOTHING that's out there right now gives a decent return on Manny Ramirez - our 4 hitter people! - unless Verlander is in the discussion. But seriously, how do we win this year without Manny???
