Well if this is true I think the Marlins made out like Bandits as I think this could potentially backfire on the Tigers in a big way.

        Wow, monster deal.

I would worry about Willis, though. Maybe he'll get back on track moving to that yard, but his stuff just wasn't the same last year.

I also have to wonder about Cabrera in that everyone was saying he'd be an even bigger star in a smaller park and now he's in a pretty cavernous ballpark. He's not going to get as much HRs and with his weight issues and such well...He's gonna drag the offense down on the basepaths.

He could have a pretty drastic home/road split IMO.

Really? That's a little surprising to me.

Oh well then there's nothing to worry about in the short term with Miggy then.

If they were planning on getting rid of those two after this year anyway, then to get six prospects including Maybin and Miller is pretty damn good, plus they got a catcher.

These guys better turn out like Hanley did though for trading the faces of your franchise away, because those were the only two selling tickets.

WOW! Huge gamble for the Tiges. I guess it's clear they are going win now. Hmmmm... Don't know what to think other than they now have an All-Star at every position except LF and that will be platooned by Jacque Jones and Marcus Thames.... that's nothing to sneeze at.

Oh yeah, and people wonder why the AL is so much better. They can get a top five NL player for "potential."

If you go back more than just 1 year the difference between them is minimal.

This is payback toward the Marlins. Billy the Marlin tried to steal my hot dog when I went to a Tigers/Marlins game back in 1997 or so.

Yeah, I was pointing out that Comerica isn't any harder to hit in than Dolphins stadium. Both are predominately pitcher's parks.

Damn that is a HUGE deal.

No pun intended with Cabrera being involved.

                                I swear.
