I think these sliders are damn near perfect for me anyhow! I actually have to work the corners and work the count which makes the pitch counts and numbers more realistic. I have good pitching games and bad pitching games. I still swing at too many balls, but I am getting much better in that aspect.
One of the main things I love about this game are the high infield chops. They are done close to perfect, even down to the rushed throw by the fielders. I will post updates later tonight!

Jordanfan, you should drop down to very small cursor if you are getting too many hits. It's not that much harder but does cause you to make poor contact more often. As for the CPU hits, sounds like you are throwing way too many strikes. You have to go outside the zone a lot more often to try to get batters to chase. If you're giving up too many hits but not any walks, it's pretty clear you're not mixing it up enough. Even try the occasional ball just out of the zone on 3-2 counts. Sometimes it will just catch the corner or the batter will chase.

it seems that you play with very small cusor for batting. Are you getting too many K's Against you?

How are your hit totals and K totals. Remember, K not against the CPU, but against you.

Also, yea with my settings so far...it is definately possible to lower hit count against the CPU without getting a bunch of K's. I know because I did it against the Pirates in a 2-0 win with the Bucs getting only 2 hits in the entire game. I forget how many K's I had, but it wasn't more than 7.

WSBfan, my strikeout totals have actually been fairly low. Around 5 a game probably. It usually varies between 3-9 though, not bad. I have pitch speed on Fast right now. I used Very Fast for a while but my walks went way down and I was hitting too many balls down the opposite field lines trying to catch up to average fastballs.

Hit totals are close to what they should be - around 9 or 10 a game. Although, since I am the Tigers, I guess 5 or 6 a game would be more realistic. I've been hot lately, so maybe the numbers will change in the near future.

I'm going to have to try that again then. When I become a better hitter then I'll definately want to have my cursor at very small.

With the batting eye higher than say 55 for balls and 45 for strikes, do ya'll find that the CPU gets too many hits or swings at every strike?

I have them set at the aforementioned levels and the CPU takes some strikes, which is nice. It also doesn't chase too many balls.

I am pretty satisfied with my pitching (I have been getting hit hard some, and then had a 5 hit shut out in game 14).

I would like to see my batting average a little lower, however. Right now I have CPU pitching at 77 with throw strikes at 5. It isn't bad, but I might try your suggestion of 100.

How is the ball/strike ratio with the throw strikes at 1?
