Here are the lastest settings.

CPU PA - 100, MVP

I had CPU BA at 3 before and it gave me incredible pitching numbers. I had 5 K's and 2-3 BBs. But in the lat inning, and maybe this is just me, but the CPU keeps comming back. i realized how difficult it was to finish a game with a closer. I decided to lower the CPU BA to 30 since 25 was getting me too many Ks. I feel that I'm closing in on the CPU hitting abiliy, but it'll take some more games.

For the rest of this week, that's where the settings will be at. By Friday night, I'll see if this still gives me a realistic game. I think the only thing I'll change from here on out is the CPU BA from 30 to 35. No more, no less.

I will try these in the first game of my franchise with the Reds since I am starting over with the new rosters and I will post the box score when I am done! These look really good to me!

Yeah, I used WSBFanatic's sliders last night on opening day, Reds(me) vs. Pirates. I got whacked 10-2, how is that for realism? The Reds lost to the Pirates 10-1 on Opening Day Giles had 3HR's and 5RBI's. I will play with these again and post the box score later!

Yeah, I used WSBFanatic's sliders last night on opening day, Reds(me) vs. Pirates. I got whacked 10-2, how is that for realism? The Reds lost to the Pirates 10-1 on Opening Day Giles had 3HR's and 5RBI's. I will play with these again and post the box score later!

Glad there are people who are enjoying my slider settings. I do always want to be objective with them, meaning, if there is something I feel is off, I will state it so that people will know that it's something that's constantly being worked on.

Ok the last slider post is the one that I am currently using. And I only have one complain about them. They have been very realistic for me thus far in terms of RHE, Pitches-Strikes ratio, K's and BB per game, and many other aspects of the game. The only thing that is getting to me is (and I made a thread about this issue) the CPU always managing to come back by the 7, 8 or 9th innings. I am up 3-0 or 1-0 and I have a fresh closer or setup man in there. The Marlins will get hit after hit on my pitcher.

As I said before, he is well rested, I am pitching the same as before, but this time they are hitting everything for runs. I understand that there may be several factors that lead to this, such as the CPU hitting gets more aggressive during those innings, but shouldn't my closer be that much better. That's why he's my closer-a better pitcher with little stamina. But in his first inning, he'll get lit up! I had some advice given to me to pitch differently, and I'll try that but seems a little odd then CPU always come back...almost like CPU cheat code implemented into this game(although FP said there wasn't)

Maybe I just need to get better as a pitcher during those times! Anyone else feel this way?

I've been keeping up with everyone's sliders and taking note. I finally developed a set for myself based on the averages of everyone elses listed on this board. This is what I came up with....
CPU Pitch 100
CPU Bat 47
CPU Eye (balls) 70
CPU Eye (Strikes) 54
CPU Throw Strikes 11
CPU Steal 44
Pitch Speed: Very Fast
Variable Pitch: Medium (I found this better than High because now the CPU pitcher has better control of placement)

I play with timed hitting (find cursor play too difficult and frustrating). With these settings I am getting extremely realistic games. I play with the O's so naturally I'm loosing quite a few games but I rarely if ever get blown out and I've played 33 games now. Here are the average stats I'm getting from each game...

CPU: 7 hits, 3 walks, 4 runs, &amp; 6 K's
O's: 8 hits, 2 walks, 3 runs, &amp; 8 K's

Just about every game is real close with a score of 3-4 or 1-3 so I'm very pleased. Every so often the O's hit a streak and get 12 hits and 8+ runs so even that aspect is realistic!!! After finally settling down with some decent sliders I've now found a game to replace HH. Of course I should note that up to this point I'm near the end of May with my season. With the O's that means I've been up against week hitting teams like the D-rays, Tiger, Royals, and Indians. I have yet to play the Yanks so we'll see how these slider settings look after playing a top notch team like that!!!

WSBfanitic to u use picther cursor or not...because if you dont use it I do i just helps me put my pitches were I want them, but they dont always go because MVP is on....but you will feel better if you use it.....I was using your settings last night but I had to save my firts game in franchis with the mets because my dauther was acting up....The game was saved in the 11th ining with me tying the game up at 3...Good settings righn on man...

Listen I want someone here to play with every slider set at 35 and please come back and tell me what you think, and give me results...BTW play it on legend and fast pitching and very small cursor or small cursor and tell what you think...rember every slider set at 35....
