I will never put down what Vaughn did for the Pads in 98. I just think over the long haul Klesko is and will be a better player. Burroughs will come around too. He had so much pressure put on him as being the can't miss kid, then he got hurt and his season was done. He must be pretty good, Boston wants him and wants him bad.

And BK, to equate Cowboys fans to Giants fans is not fair to Cowboy fans. At least they know a little about their sport. I'm going to be at PacBell tomorrow and I can't wait to be stuck in a sea of people that don't know a damn thing about baseball.

No kidding Hayes. During my 4 years in the Bay Area I have never come across fans that are less knowledgeable about their sport than Gianta fans. Funny thing is everyone I know that has moved up there or lived or there for a while says the exact same thing.

Ask SportsorDeath, he's from there and he says the same thing.

I'm sad to say that said disease doesn't only effect Giant fans. 49er and King fans are the same way. You have no idea how many Kings' game I've been to and had to sit next to somebody that didn't know a thing about the game. I'm a huge Kings' fan but I don't fit in with them in the least. I also got quite a kick out of watching the Giants choke away the Series last year. I swear you had to put the whole region on suicide watch. And only Giant fans would chant, "Beat LA." Come on now, LA...Orange County...same thing right?

I think we got hosed pretty nicely on that balk call. Did the pitcher get the sign before stepping off? Because if he did, its a balk.

Good victory tonight. Maybe the bats will stay hot and we can rough up Jensen tomorrow. That's if our TBA #5 doesn't get too badly roughed up himself.
