yea man, people don't talk about him as MUCH as they talk about the other great players.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

But, they talk about him as much as they would any other Hall of Famers.... Granted, if AROD stays healthy for the next 10 years, hes a shoe-in for the hall, but then, so is Jeter, Nomar, and Tejada. One thing about AROD, I may be mistaken, but he was like Soriano in a way, being that he came up at a different position, but he was a 3B, and Seattle had Edgar slotted at 3B when he came up. They moved him to SS, right after they decided to try edgar at DH, and they had another 3B, but i cant recall his name right now, but that guy never turned out to be anything

Agreed, but we'll see where Arod winds up. Despite this being his 10th year in the big leagues, he's not even gonna be 28 till July. He already has 305 HR's.

            His career averages:
.309 44 HR 127 RBI 23 SB. To go along with Gold Glove quality defense.

He continues like this at all, then he will have to ba considered with the all time greats. Not just one of the good players of our time like Pauly suggested.

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Those are scary numbers....and the guy is just heading into his prime years The next 5 yrs should be the most productive of his career barring any unforseen injuries.

yes, i agree there, arod would have been special in any generation. but, if he played in 50's'60's they probally would have made him a 3rd baseman or an outfielder.

I am pretty sure Arod came up as a SS. Remember he hit the majors at age 18 intitially. So I don't think there was a lot of time to change his position.
