No, im saying its not fair to either player to compare them to one another.... but im not saying AROD is better than Banks.... but arod didnt revolutionize anything... you hear what broadcasters talk about with the players today, and most broadcasters today, were players in the 70's and 80's when baseball, was so plain and boring ... they arent very knowledgeable about the gameComment

arod would still have his numbers, but banks would be the better overall player... i know you think being better than arod would be impossible, but i feel the same way about Mickey Mantle, i dont think anyone will ever be as good as MickComment

if soriano can acquire gold glove calibur D then i would give him recognition as the most complete player.
but right now its definately a-rod.
and pauley.. im not gonna argue.. but i think most of the "stories" we hear from grandparents are a bit stretched.they always remember the good old days better.Comment
