Re: ALDS: Twins vs Yankees
It's a reason from a rules standpoint, which is the only standpoint that matters here. Also, I agree that it shouldn't be reviewable anyway. Home runs are ok because the Umpires can't see them easily. Bad calls are part of the game, umpires are human.Comment

That's not a bad call. That's a costly error. The Twins should be up 4-3 at least right now.Comment

And if you're going to make the stupid "bad calls are a part of the game, umpires are human" argument, then let's abolish all replay in all sports, since all officials make mistakes in all major sports, and you're apparently okay with it.Comment

Re: ALDS: Twins vs Yankees
It amazes me how a team could have bases loaded with nobody out and NOT come away with at least one run.
Normally i'd be freaking out but i've seen it enough the last couple years here in T.O. that i'm numb to it.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: ALDS: Twins vs Yankees
Well obviously the umpire on the left field line couldn't "see it easily", because he blew what was an obvious call.
