Bases are loaded. The Twins should at least come out of this inning with 2 runs.

        Easy there.

It's a reason from a rules standpoint, which is the only standpoint that matters here. Also, I agree that it shouldn't be reviewable anyway. Home runs are ok because the Umpires can't see them easily. Bad calls are part of the game, umpires are human.

Oh look, the Twins are imitating the Blue Jays.

          How cute. "sigh"

C'mon Twins... show more patience at the plate. Give the pitcher a chance to possibly uncork a wild pitch.

They'll come away with 3 outs.

That's not a bad call. That's a costly error. The Twins should be up 4-3 at least right now.

Well obviously the umpire on the left field line couldn't "see it easily", because he blew what was an obvious call.

And if you're going to make the stupid "bad calls are a part of the game, umpires are human" argument, then let's abolish all replay in all sports, since all officials make mistakes in all major sports, and you're apparently okay with it.

                        Re: ALDS: Twins vs Yankees

It amazes me how a team could have bases loaded with nobody out and NOT come away with at least one run.

Normally i'd be freaking out but i've seen it enough the last couple years here in T.O. that i'm numb to it.

Yankees fans should be praising that LF Ump, seeing as how he is the reason you are not down right now.

Heh, yeah that guy will receive a nice bonus under the table from the Yankees for making that call.

So where do you draw the line? Would you like the game to be stopped at every ball called a strike?
