Re: Hall Of Fame: Yes Or No?

Halladay not going in as a Jay would be heartbreaking. He's the franchises greatest and most respected player. Don't see a reason to not go in as a Jay. He retired a Jay for a reason. Even said in that very same hof interview that for awhile in Philly he just felt like a Blue Jay in a Phillies jersey.

Also sucks realizing nobody else will be going into the hof as a Blue Jay for at least 2 decades. I'm actually serious saying that Vlad Jr is probably their next best chance.

Phillies pr stuff maybe just done since they'd want the message to get out to a larger audience?

Anywho, I know some people think Brian Kenny is a bit too much but I saw this and basically, McGriff is a HOFer based on how well he argued here.

That is an incredible argument by BK. McGriff's run creation for a decade being top 3 in baseball is definitely HOF worthy.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Based on his career, yes, Doc should enter the Hall as a Jay. If his family would prefer him to enter as a Phillie (and I have no idea if that's the case), that's their prerogative.

Halladay's death was heartbreaking. Anyone whose "heart is broken" based on what logo he wears on his plaque in Cooperstown should seek professional help.

            He'll get 90% for sure.

It's going to be VERY interesting to see the % for Walker, (who I think will finally make it) Schilling, Bonds and Clemens what with this very weak 1st time class.

I just wish Mo and Jeter had retired together so they could've gone in together. Can't wait to see how Mo gets honored at the Stadium, still can't believe he got in unanimously.

I'm going to die laughing/crying when Derek Jeter gets in unanimously.

You know it's gonna happen. He's Jeter, Jeets, The Captain.

The man got three (3) commercials when he announced his retirement.

I would think he gets 100% also but if there's one thing that might stop that is his rather bungling ownership of the Marlins. Some baseball writers might use that as an excuse. I mean it shouldn't matter but you know how some of the old ink stained wretches can be.

                    Fun trivia time.

Which player has played with every player of the 2019 Hall of fame class. And this includes Baines and Lee too. I'm actually surprised there's a connection between all 6 players.

Try not to cheat. I'll give a hint after each guess.

                            1st hint:
He started his career with the Orioles

                              I cheated, so I won't answer. It's a good question.

I can say that Arthur Rhodes is not the answer.

This isn't exactly a hint, but obviously Yankees and Mariners are 2 of the teams the player played with.
