    Who should win the AL MVP?

    A lot of talk about Bonds or Pujols, but who does everyone thing should win the AL award?

          I have a hard time thinking Giambi will win it with a .260 avg despite leading the league in walks,homeruns, and 2nd in obp. I'll give it to Ichiro.

                      Well didn't you know that hits and average are meaningless? Not mentioning runs, too, which Ichiro leads Giambi in. It's the OBP, SLG, and OPS that are the important stats. Don't pay any attention to others, but those three.

                            They aren't meaningless. OPS is the best SINGLE stat to use to determine how good a hitter he is, but all the major stats should be looked at.

                              They aren't meaningless. OPS is the best SINGLE stat to use to determine how good a hitter he is, but all the major stats should be looked at.
