Close to it. I'm not saying he's as good all around defensively as them, groundball hit to Giambi is trouble, especially if he has to throw it, but at that aspect of defense he is very good.

I think Nick Johnson is much better defensivly IMHO...I think the Yanks will make Giambino the permanent DH as soon as next season if they aren't already doing it right now...Comment

Re: Who should win the AL MVP?
It's hard to tell, but my vote goes to Magglio Ordonez if the Chi Sox make the playoffs. He's without a doubt, the more most underrated player AL. Giambi in my eyes isn't a candidate this year, he's not even the most valuable player on his team let alone the league. It's not just about stats, just ask A-rod about that.Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Comment

Did you just call Giambi versatile because he can play DH?

Yes.
Oh, and NYJETS, thanks for the word. "Scoop", I couldn't remember the word. "Swoop", and "sweep"." I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
