Because you say in 3-4 postings what you can say in 1 (gee, I wonder why you have 28,000+ posts). You're taking both sides of the argument here.

"You don't have a good sense of what is right and what is wrong at the moment"? Please.

Besides, I thought you were ignoring me.

A player purposely kicked a player in the back and one in the face. Remove the uniforms, forget its the Cardinals and the Reds, you are actually going to set there and tell me that its ok? What if the roles were reversed and LaRue kicked Cueto in the face...would you just blow it off as.."well **** happens in a fight"

As for your "don't wanna get hurt in a fight, don't start one" maybe you should tell Brandon Phillips to be a ballplayer and not a thug. Because when you get down to it my friend, non of this happens, if he isn't a tough guy behind the print of the media.
How was Phillips being a thug?!! He only spoke the truth.
He doesnt like the Cards which is his right and he said all the Cards do is bitch and moan about everything which is the truth.
So you are "thug" if you tell the truth and speak your mind???

Brandon Phillips may be a hot dog, but he's not a thug.

How about ignore me too Daflyboy. Plus I am taking bothsides because I can see both sides. Things happen in fights and he should be held accountable. But if you are in a baseball scrum you might not want to be on the ground during it. Is it right what happen, no, so I will just say this you keep being rude to me, because believe it or do not care. And for the record I was just messing with you, but I am my cell and forgot to put this . So keep thinking you know everything and keep on hating on a me. lol That is what makes you you.

Hate is such a strong word. No, I'm not going to ignore certain points made here by anyone. This is a discussion forum. Seeing both sides of the argument and taking both sides of the argument are 2 entirely different things. Sorry, but you have a reputation for doing the latter.

            Now retract your spikes.

I will that is why I am easy going because I can se both sides to every problem instead of being narrow minded and thinkin I am always right like someone in this thread thinks. And I don't make big post, that is not me. I just make little ones and post counts mean nothing to me. Never have if I had it my way I would get rid of all the post counts for OS. And I will say one more thing I get your humor, because believe it or no cup cake you are a lot like me.

Now I can REALLY rest my case.

Back to the OP..... terrible way to end a career. Plus, now dealing with the aftermath of multiple concussions. Some guys end up in situations that don't justify the money they earn. It's a shame.

Back to the thread, LaRue would have never won in court and besides even his own team mates told him to not pursue legal action.

Re: Jason LaRue forced to retire..

I would like to think more like old men. But this thread is funny because if it was a Reds player that got hurt you would be bitching for that guys head. That is what is amusing about fans. What the guy did was wrong and should be charged, but it is a fight and everything goes in a fight. But he needs to be held accountable too

Re: Jason LaRue forced to retire..

back on topic, as a Reds fan, when I saw it live, I thought Cueto was just protecting himself, 5-10 while Carp is 6ft 6in...
Never got to really see who Cueto's kicks hit and where, so I was kinda surprised someone got a concussion. Anyone with a good vid?

LaRue would have been out of MLB anyway, but I feel for the guy... (ex-Red, too)

Once again, you make my point. Really? EVERYTHING goes in a fight on a baseball field, football field, etc.? Really? You honestly believe that? So Marichal using a bat was okay because everything goes. And you said "EVERYTHING GOES". You just said it. Just now. Right there. So a hockey player taking his skate after getting beat down on the ice can take his skate and rake it across the other guy's leg..... because EVERYTHING GOES (like you said). Tomjonavich's being sucker punched was fine? I could go on. AND they need to be accountable too! Classic.

It is a fight what do you expect is it right hell no. Does it happen hell yes. When you are in the heat of the moment bad stuff happen. If a pitcher throws a ball at my head and did it on purpose it would be hard for me not to bring my bat with me to the mound.

If a player does something stupid you they have to be held accountable. What is so hard to underdstand there. I just said I can see bad **** hapening in fights. I also surpise they don't happen more in baseball. Oh well I will just throw out the Classic line for you too.

OK the more I think about it I think I see what are you are saying. When I mean everything goes I am not saying it is right. I just mean you have to watch out, because believe it or not some will do anything in a fight, especially a big brawl. Now the thing is a baseball team should not get into it with another team, but it happens. The hockey thing is not right too, but people get heated real fast in sports. I remember when Nolan sucker punch a guy going back to the locker room. I was saying that is wrong, until I saw what the guy was doing to him and his teammates on the ice. But Nolan was still wrong with the way he handle it, but when you are heated you do stupid stuff.
