The Rangers have made it pretty obvious that they're not going to go hard after Hamilton at the end of the year, so they're content on letting Hamilton walk, and replacing him with Leonys Martin or Craig Gentry. Kinsler was on the verge of signing a 6 year deal about 2 days ago, and everything that's out there is saying the Rangers are planning to move Kinsler to LF in 2013 or 2014 to make room for Jurickson Profar to take over at 2B. Young's time as a solid player is coming to an end. Realistically, he has about 2-3 more years before he starts declining rapidly. As a Rangers fan, I'm more worried about losing Elvis Andrus than Josh Hamilton or Michael Young.

As for the Mariners, they're screwed because they're in the same division with two of the best teams in baseball. The Angels and Rangers will probably control the AL West until at least 2017.

Alberts best days will end very soon and will become a average player getting paid more than anyone should, and we'll see, i believe our rotation will over power your batting, and when our offense isnt dead last but in the middle of the pack. we will win.

I didn't realize Albert was the only player that was in the lineup for the Angels.

As far as the other stuff, that's pretty funny.

On top of that the Angels farm system isnt even deep, and by 2013 they are losing Ervin Santana, Erick Aybar (Last i saw might get a deal), Alberto Callaspo, Kendry Morales, Chris Ianettea, and Dan Haren. And on top of that, we will get a new TV deal, and that'll obviosuly get us more money to play around with.

Whatever you say, defense wins championships, and if we have a great rotation, and a team that can put up runs we'll win.

All your talking about is how bad the M's are when the Twins suck too and their system sucks.

So the Angels won't resign any of those players? So the Mariners are going to retain all their talent, all their prospects will hit their ceiling, they're getting a whopper TV deal, while the Albert will become an average hitter, lose all those players, and none of their prospects like say Cron, Trout or Segura will develop?

Jeez might as well shut the team down.

You don't have a team that will put up runs. The Angels and Rangers both play outstanding defense, and have better rotations than Seattle. Not to mention offenses that are light years ahead of anything Seattle can muster in the near future.
