    Re: Best Pitching Rotation Discussion

I remember another pro athlete nicknamed "The King" recently left his team to go elsewhere after the people that lived in that city went on and on for years about how he would never leave. Maybe you've heard of that story...

And have fun not knowing anything about the Mariners, Jim Bowden you know, a baseball writer and knows baseball compared them to the Rays, because of their young pitching staff, young stars, and very deep system.

Maybe you didnt hear the story about him not taking less money to stay on that team. When are you guys going to talk about that fact instead of just talk about other players leaving and talk about the fact he actually took less money to stay.

You left out the part where he took a pay cut to give the team time to build around him too.

I wasn't aware Jim Bowden was not only infallible but also knew the future.

I saw Sparky Anderson say Barbaro Garbay was the next Roberto Clemente. Sparky in his life had forgotten more about baseball than Bowden will ever know, guess what he was wrong.

Honestly, if he really wanted to win he wouldn't sign with the Mariners, let's be real.

You know the future for a fact? So you and Jim Bowden are clairvoyant? What are tonight's lotto numbers, and when will my 401k recover? Or should I just ask Jim?
