Ichiro in pinstripes? Dios mio. I haven't really wrapped my brain around that one just yet.

As for the Tigers, they filled 2 desperate needs today, and all it cost them was Jacob Turner. They definitely got better today, quite possibly putting the Central out of reach. Hrmph.

Has way more ground to cover, so if Ichiro is comfortable there I think it's the right move.

Wow.

I never expected to see Ichiro in another uniform, despite the fact that I wished it happened two years ago. I am glad to see that he got traded to a team that has a chance to win a ring... I can't believe I am saying this, but this might be the first time ever where I will be rooting for the Pinstripes in the postseason... Makes me almost sick.

With that said, I am kind of indifferent. I am glad they got out from under his contract. I haven't been quiet about the fact that Ichiro has never been one of my favorite Mariners. He just hasn't been, despite his success. I respect his talent and accomplishments a great deal, though. Hell, I will miss seeing him out in right field.

Ichiro already making the M's pay... Single up the middle, steals second, advances to third on a ground out. He'll probably go on and hit about .400 for the Yankees for the rest of the season.

Josh Johnson pitched a 6 inning gem tonight, 1 Hit 9Ks before leaving with a cut on his finger(will make next start). Angels, Rangers, Red Sox scouts in attendance.

I expect him to be moved soon.
