Such an idiotic trade for the Orioles. I don't care what his numbers say this year, Feldman is garbage.

Better than having Guerrier I guess.

As a Blue Jays fan i'm sad to see Strop go. I loved beating the crap out of him every time he pitched against them.

              How is it idiotic?

It's not like the Orioles traded anything of value for Feldman. Arrieta and Strop had no future with this team.

Feldman is immediately better than a good chunk of their stuff right now too unless things turn around fast.

Yovani Gallardo has put every AL East team minus the Rays on his "No trade" list...seems abit odd?

from what I've been reading Marmol has been open to the idea of doing a rehab stint in AAA.

The big news for the Dodgers is they're only taking a 500K hit and they get an extra 200k to spend on an International player.

The bad news is that if Marmol gets hot at the end of the year Colletti will probably give him 3 year 12 million dollar contract and the Dodger fans will feel the Cub fan's pain

Chicago 2B prospect Ronald Torreyes sent to the Astros for two international bonus pool slots. Those slots are about equal to $800,000.

The Cubs have been busy today.

Hoping the Mariners get busy, trading away guys like Morales, Saunders, Harang, Ryan, Wilhelmsen, etx. to open up rosters spots for younger guys.

Saunders, Ryan, Harang and possibly Wilhelmsen have minimal value, but guys like Oliver Perez, Morales, and even Michael Morse could get us a good return.

Yeah I heard on MLB Net that he'll be sent to the minors.

Why not give up a little more for a pitcher who will actually help? Garza, Nolasco, or Norris.

Feldman has a career 4.66 ERA and 9.4 hits per 9 innings. He sucked in Texas for the most part, and the only reason he's pitching well this season is because of an insanely low BABIP of .255. He's going back to basically the exact same scenario he was in as a Ranger (American League team in a hitter friendly park). A 4.75 ERA as an Oriole would be the absolute best case scenario IMO. I really hope I'm wrong, but Garza was the perfect guy for them to get and they blew it.

I agree in that I don't think Feldman is the answer, but they gave away a one year wonder in Strop and a pitcher who was once highly touted in the O's farm system but washed-out at the pro level (Arrietta).

These are not the guys that would've netted you a Garza, Nolasco, or whoever else so hold your horses, the O's could still be busy, never know...
