    yeah but do the cubs have a lefty in their starting 5, i don't think so, but i just want to make sure. Also is juan cruz a lefty

      There's the understatement of the year. Aramis Ramirez can play defense but sometime he just looks awful. He doesn't move his feet well, his glove is iffy, and sometimes he just half-asses his throws and they go sailing. He most certainly can hit, and in Wrigley his numbers should be great but that defense is not something to be proud of.

            The Astros have Dotel and very little else.

            The Cubs bullpen of Cruz/Dempster/Merker/Farnsworth/Remlinger/Hawkins/Borowski could be the best in baseball. I mean, that's an incredible bullpen with a great mix of righties and lefties. Solid from top to bottom.

                        BTW Houston had the best bullpen last year and only lost Wagner while adding Veres, Duckworth, Saarloos (who will close someday), and Robertson, I'd say the Astros still have the edge.
