Rumored trade - Sori for Jose Reyes

Maybe my honorable, fellow Mets fans are forgetting that we tried to import veterans and "all-stars" throughout the 90s. Didn't work too well did it?? I can take suffering through another sub-par season if it means that Kaz, Reyes, and some of the young prospects get a chance to show what they can do. Then we aren't out anything. On the other hand, I'm glad we traded Escobar when we did!! what is he doing now?

dce1228- thats really dumb, winning is winning and if your a METS fan you know what im talking about, As a METS fan I tired of seeing us lose and lose year and year out, I want to win now. I think if we got Soriano right now Our chances will be better at making the playoffs, Plus I dont care about what you said about being home grown, Soriano is a great player and an Allstar. I love Reyes too, but he's not an ALLstar yet, PLUS I dont think Reyes will ever be as good as Soriano. Reyes will always be better at defence and thats it

, but He will never put up Soriano numbers Ever. I really dont think Reyes will ever put 100rbi's in a season. I know what Soriano can do now for us, I dont really want to wait for Reyes. I know it would be great to see him blossom as a MET, JUST get SORIANO NOW.

Yeah you got rid of Escobar, but you gave us Traber who could turn out to be ok if his arm gets better from the surgery. Also where did Alomar go(i know he is in Arizona) but where did the MVP candidate go, now Alomar is nothing more than another tony graffinino.
