The Rangers will NOT trade Soriano right now. I believe he will be traded later on but he won't be traded for the first offer that comes along. If the Mets have some young pitching propects in their organization, I think the Rangers would be interested. Of course, they'll sit back and wait for the right trade.

The Rangers? Wait for Pitching? Now that's a laugh

For the Rangers this would be a great trade, for the Mets, i would not make this trade, Reyes has great potential, and the Mets need to start holding on to there younger players, so if i'm the Mets i don't make this deal.

The kid's got a LOT to prove.

I remember when Royce Clayton was being hyped twice as much as Reyes is now. All I know is, if I had Reyes, I'd ship him for Soriano in a heartbeat. Heck, I'd ship him for Michael Young in a heartbeat.

You continue to dance around the question. What would be your stance if the Cubs were willing to part with Prior for a proven all star without giving him a chance to showcase his talent in Chicago?
            Simple enough.
Of course Reyes doesn't amount to Prior right now because Prior has a full season under his belt and we've seen what he can do.
Reyes will get his chance this year, and if you're serious about shipping him for Young then I'd have to doubt your baseball knowledge.

WHAT!!!!!!! Im sorry Im a big Reyes fan, but Soriano for Reyes I would do in a heart beat. No doubt Reyes will be a great player in time, But I know what i'll be getting in Soriano, and that a big time offensive player. I would put Soriano in right field and get rid of half the bums they signed to play right. I think Soriano would be a great outfielder, then I would bring up Vitor Diaz and put him at second base, he's young but you have to give that chance Like they did for Reyes. METS please do this, Im a big time METS FAN and I love Soriano.

                        That's pretty funny, man.

Bottom line: Slap hitting, good glove shortstops are a dime a dozen (anyone remember Gary Templeton?). The Natural-type pitchers are not.
