    Jose Reyes 2003: .307, 5HR, 22RBIs, 13SB

    Soriano 2003: .290, 38HR, 91RBIS, 35SB

It's like Jose Viscaino vs. A-Rod.

Reyes didn't play a whole season and it was his rookie campaign!! With the Mets bad luck when they take the Vets, I say pass!! PASS!

Reyes 69 games, 20 Years old
Soriano 156 games, 28 Years old

Reyes will never have the power of soriano, but he is better defensively, and strikes out a hell of a lot less. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Soriano in a Mets uniform, but I would not give up on Reyes. The Mets lineup should produce enough runs if healthy. They need pitching, pitching, and more pitching.

If I'm the Rangers, I try and get this done ASAP.

You Mets fans are deluding yourselves about Reyes. Potential is potential. An All-Star is an All Star.

I don't think they are. Players are hyped for reasons. How would you have felt if the Cubs traded Mark Prior before last season for Soriano? Soriano was an all star, and Prior was an unproven ML pitcher at that point in his brief career.
Prior was the most hyped SP to hit the big leagues in a while. Reyes is receiving the just as much hype. I have to side with the Mets here, giving up on Reyes right now is not the right choice.
