50 games? Why the **** even bother?

Get everything hashed out and come back in 2021.

Settle on 70-82 games at prorated salary and lets get going.

I think it’s highly unlikely this season will be played entirely in empty ballparks.

Around August or so fans to at least some capacity will be back in the stands.

If they don't find a way to get on the field, I think this will be the end of MLB as we know it.

That's extreme for sure, but I wonder if in any sport we could ever see another ABA, WHA, AFL or anything like that.

I'm trying to figure out what moves slower: the time between Fernando Rodney's pitches or the pace of these negotiations.

MLB turned down the 114-game proposal, and don't plan on submitting a counteroffer.

I'd say the 2020 season is 95% dead.

I had hoped they'd just have the good sense to blame it on the Virus.

Nobody will be able to tolerate the labor war this is headed toward with everything going on in society.

Watching back some classic Halladay games. Those games went by so fast. Under 2.5 hours! Some innings had him throw several pitches and that was it.

He almost no hit the Yankees with Jeter and Arod! 1 hitter through 8.

The Eric Gregg game was on MLB Network last night. I was literally laughing like a maniac while watching the first 2 innings before I turned it off because I would have broken my TV if I watched any further.

I cannot believe that there's footage of that game that still exists AND the official Major League Baseball Network aired it.

You would think a travesty of that level would be scrubbed from existence.

One of the most criminal, unjust things I've ever seen in sports. Along with the 2002 NBA WCF, and 2007 NBA WCSF and 2006 NBA Finals, along with a game between the Lakers and Timberwolves in (I think it was) the 2003 playoffs and the Saints PI a couple years ago and probably the Armando Galarraga situation, this game was probably the biggest sports travesties I've ever seen.

Some of those “strike” calls were in the other batters box...pretty hilarious. I was so pissed when it happened, but 23 years later I’m over it and can watch it.
