Baseball hasn't had a legitimate season since 2016.
Guess that streak continues.Comment

The challenge system is interesting. For the people who are against robo-umps, would you prefer this system?Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: MLB Off-Topic
Which means, between New York rules and Toronto rules, Aaron Judge (who used way too many words to confirm he isn't vaccinated) will miss approximately 92 games this year unless that status changes.

I'm not really pro or against it, but I would rather just go all in with ABS than have a challenge system. Challenge systems in sports are always trash. All plays should be looked at and reviewed as they happen in all sports.Comment

My brain hurts from the leaps of logic trying to make this make sense.
It still doesn’t.

Hasn’t made sense since it was implemented but I’m glad it’s starting to get more National attention.

Need the Yankees/Mets to go ahead and put that pressure on the city and get that Athlete exemption included like other cities have.

Re: MLB Off-Topic
The Yankees can deny service time to Judge for the games he’s missed and delay his free agency another year. If anything, it’d be in their interest to lobby to make the mandate permanent.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

This is an FYI to anyone who may not know. However you feel about it is whatever. I imagine the organizations are going to make an effort to get an exception and I won't be surprised to see them be successful.

Re: MLB Off-Topic
So unvaccinated fans may attend games but players can’t play?
I’m in favour of vaccines but that is pretty dumb if that’s the case.
